2007+ MDX Lowering Solution?//

Hey everyone...

I dont know if anyone is in the same situation as I am, but I've been searching forever for a way to safely lower the MDX a few inches.

Only thing I've come up with at this point is cutting the springs (not safe) or bagging it (completely kills the ride)

I figure comptech is one of our only hopes beacuse I dont now of any other companies out there that are willing to support honda/acura products as much as they are.

I have recently e-mailed them at: info@ct-engineering.com looking for any information regarding future development for MDX springs.

If there is any other interest I humbly ask you to e-mail them as well and let them know that theres a need for aftermarket parts out there for the MDX!

Also if you know of any other solutions that you could offer here I would really appreciate it.

I wonder if the 08+ Pilot suspension would work? but then again theres no aftermarket support out there for IT either....

Dude, that's more than a few inches Love the OEM 22's...

Reminds me of the Overfinch Range Rovers...but notice the negative camber on the rear wheels of the first pic, I imagine neg camber would be an issue with MDXs...

BAD NEWS==

GOT MY REPLY FROM COMPTECH... ANYONE GOT AN E-MAIL FOR H&R OR EIBACH LOL---

Hello,

Unfortunately we don't have any plans to make springs for the MDX. We have checked with a few of our suppliers and have not seen a company that does make any at this time. Having a custom set made is very very complex, and most spring companies would require that they have the actual vehicle for some time. You may want to speak with companies such as Eibach, and H&R. They may be able to give you a little more information on the process. Thanks for considering CTe.

SO I contacted Eibach, and they said we need to fill out the form on this site:
http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/start.exe/...ntry=y&thid=53

Even though our vehicle isn't listed it gives them an idea of what people are looking for and they use the number of hits on this page as a guide for what to develop next.

in other words: FILL THIS OUT IF YOU HAVE ANY DESIRE AT ALL TO LOWER YOUR MDX!!!

I KNOW THE MDX ISN'T LISTED ON THE PAGE, BUT SELECT SOME OTHER ACURA AND THEN UNDER 'WHAT MODIFICATIONS ARE DONE TO YOUR VEHICLE' EXPLAIN THAT YOU DONT HAVE ANY OF THESE CARS BUT IN REALITY YOU'RE CONTACTING THEM TO MAKE A KIT FOR THE MDX!

the pic from 97AcuraCL. Cause I have a 09 White MDX and the front and rear lower bumper is not the same color of the car. Is Silver or Gray. If you look closely at the pic, the front and rear bumper is painted blk.

he took those pics from the site. thats a gorgeous job of painted bumpers but he photoshopped it to make it look dropped. and those sport rims are not 22 inches. he probably should give the original photographer credit too.

Wow that looks pretty cool. I would go for that. I know the stroke sensors for the active suspension would need to be recalibrated and I am thinking that may cause some issues though.
