Both front shot at only 22k. Service rep says known issue. Anyone else?

You drive over a lot of curbs & bumps.. I've seen similar occurrences with other SUV's around 50k miles but 22k miles seems unreasonable especially if you drive mostly flat roads. They didn't charge you did they?

22K they should be lasting longer than that! It may be from a defective batch or something!

Normal highway and local roads. service guy says that he has seen several new gen MDX with the problem. Hope the new parts are better than the ones that came from the factory.

My 08 MDX shows no symptoms of worn bearings (or any other frontend issues). My driver seat leather is prematurely wearing, but that's another story.

Damn.. I hope it's covered under warranty.. after some time though they'll consider it wear & tear like shocks. All replacement parts carry 1yr / 12k mile warranty on parts & labor though.

yeah.. Acura leather is usually cheap & wears out relatively quickly..

My experience with Acura leather has usually been good. Certainly no worse than any others in this price range. This is the first time. Very disappointing how bad it has worn on the edge of the driver seat and lumbar area of the backseat. No real worries though. It's leased and I will be turning it in in 11 months.
